Xpoda Assistant Installation

There is an Xpoda Assistant folder in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Xpoda Service.

By default, the Xpoda Assistant folder contains Readme, Xpoda Assistant and Xpoda Assistant.exe files.

To install Assitant, type Command Prompt (cmd) in the search bar and run the application as administrator.

The following codes are run sequentially on the cmd screen and the windows service is added.

InstallUtil.exe "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Xpoda Service\Xpoda Assistant\Xpoda Assistant.exe"

Open the Task Manager and the start Xpoda Assistant service from the Services tab.

After installing Assistant, InstallLog and InstallState files are created automatically.

If the default Xpoda service address has been changed, the OctopodService and endpoint address fields in the Xpoda Assitant.exe config file must be changed.

Click on the settings button at the top right of the Xpoda Client admin panel screen.

-Activate Assistant Service: Xpoda Assistant box is checked.
